Launch of the Hacker Kitchens
February 2017 saw the launch of our new Kitchen display by Hacker Kitchens from Germany.
Clients flocked in to see the new range of kitchens and meet with Andreas Moller, Export sales Manager for Häcker in Germany, who took clients around on a tour of the new displays. “I am very happy to see our kitchens nicely presented in the Joinwell showroom. The models which are displayed are a perfect selection of materials and styles”, Mr. Moller explains. “Luckily we are using our proven PUResist bonding technology which assures high quality for years to come even in countries with high temperatures and high humidity like Malta”, continues Mr. Moller. “We are very happy that now Joinwell represents our brand in Malta”.
Mr Martin Galea, Joinwell’s Managing Director, was quite pleased with the turnout. “We are very happy with the response – we were able to show our new German brand Häcker as well as five new displays of Arrex Cucine, a brand we have been representing for 9 years. The added choice means that we now have a real kitchen centre which can offer exactly what our customers want at the right price.’
Prosciutto and Parmeggiano accompanied by a selection of wines and Prosecco were flowing throughout the day while clients were assisted with designs for their new kitchens.

2016 G-Plan Exhibition
An exhibition celebrating G-Plan in Malta was set up at the Blitz arts centre in Valletta in October 2016. The exhibition was set up by Blitz – who provided the venue in collaboration with Joinwell who supplied the pieces for the display from their collection. The exhibition was opened on Notte Bianca, with a number of exhibits and room setups on display. The fascination with G-Plan is that it was very much a defining period in Malta when it comes to furniture, and many homes today still have G Plan furniture – still functional and in good condition 50 years on.
