Installer - Gozo

About Us

Econetique, a subsidiary of JoinwellFXB, is looking for a reliable, hands-on Installer to join our field team in Gozo.

Econetique provides building-services and energy-efficiency solutions for homes and businesses, including air conditioning, photovoltaic systems, heat pumps, solar water heating, underfloor heating, pool heating and dehumidification, and thermal and sound insulation. We look after our customers from initial survey and design through installation, maintenance and after-sales support.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with practical experience in installation, maintenance or building services who takes pride in quality workmanship.

Reporting to the Operations Support & Stores Coordinator, you'll carry out installations and related field work across our range of solutions, working under the direction of our technical team.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out installations in line with the job scope, technical instructions and manufacturer requirements.
• Checking materials, tools and equipment before starting each job.
• Completing work to the required standard and checking installations for defects before handover.
• Assisting with testing, commissioning and handover as directed.
• Supporting maintenance, breakdown, warranty and callback work.
• Reporting technical concerns, site issues and defects promptly.
• Working safely, protecting customer property and leaving sites clean and presentable.
• Completing job sheets, checklists and service records accurately and on time.

Requirements

• Practical experience in installation, maintenance, construction or building services (essential).
• Confidence using tools and equipment appropriate to installation work.
• The ability to follow technical instructions and manufacturer guidance.
• A strong awareness of safe working practices.
• Reliable attendance, good timekeeping and a team-player attitude.
• Good communication skills in Maltese and/or English.
• Basic ability to complete job sheets and records, including on mobile apps.
• Experience with air conditioning, PV, heat pumps or other building-services installations, and relevant trade training, will be considered assets.

Candidates must be based in Gozo.
