The company is now looking for an Accountant to join their team.
Duties of the Accountant include:
• Being responsible for general accounting activities relating to the maintenance of a complete and accurate computerized general ledger;
• Being responsible for related month-end closing processes, preparing journal entries, bank reconciliations and supporting cost accounting for the manufacturing process;
• Being responsible for producing monthly managerial reports and financial statements;
• Providing support to the sales staff.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the likely successful candidate will be studying for or has completed his Accounting qualification. He/she will have a strong analytical and organized mind, and have experience in computerized accounting packages. Previous experience in an accounting firm or as an accountant will be considered an asset. The company seeks a person with a good attitude, who can work in a team and who will take on the responsibility and the work with enthusiasm and initiative. He/she must be willing to learn but also to drive forward. On-the-job training will be provided.
