JoinwellFxb, a long-established furniture company in Malta with decades of industry expertise, is currently searching for a full-time Personal Assistant to provide direct support to the Business Development Manager at various levels.

Job Summary

To provide professional sales and technical assistance to the Business Development Manager in the day-to-day running of the Retail Sales and Contracting functions of the Company.

Responsibilities

  • To assist the Business Development Manager in resolving technical issues related to both retail and contracting projects.
  • To prepare accurate designs and quotations based on customer requirements and project specifications, and as directed by the Business Development Manager.
  • To assist the Business Development Manager in managing the processing of orders, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
  • To address customer enquiries and provide solutions as directed by the Business Development Manager.
  • To handle any pending sales orders and projects, ensuring they are completed within the set timelines.
  • To engage in in-depth technical discussions with customers to understand their needs and suggest appropriate solutions.
  • To provide administrative support to the Business Development Manager as needed.
  • To perform any other duties assigned to him/her from time-to-time.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the furniture industry is essential.
  • A qualification in design would be considered an asset.
  • A strong sales background with a proven track record would be considered an asset.
  • Have the ability to read and interpret designs and plans.
  • Proficiency in administrative tasks and use of relevant software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Maltese and English.
  • Ability to speak effectively and professionally to all stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Windows applications.
  • Familiarity with design tools and software used in the furniture industry.
